Target Tours India Pvt Ltd. India is a vast land with diversity and each of its states presents features entirely different than the rest. The country is naturally rich with its several parks and wildlife sanctuaries. Mammals, birds, tigers, lions, and various species of tress are scattered throughout India. Some of the foremost natural parks and sanctuaries are also world heritage sites and attract tourists from far-off places.

Established in 1956 as a bird sanctuary, the Keoladeo Ghana National Park is situated between Agra and Jaipur and a famous natural site for hosting a wide array of bird species like Siberian crane etc. The park attracts birds from far-off places, and comprises 380 rare species of birds in its 29 sq km stretch amid intense marshes, bogs, scrublands, grasslands and enormous trees. The trees are exploited by birds for nesting, and that creates an ideal setting lends a distinct touch to the park. The months of August-November get conducive for resident breeding birds in the park, while migrant birds come from November-March.

The Manas Wildlife Sanctuary is in Assam at around 3,000 sq km area. A world heritage site, the sanctuary hosts the rare species of golden langurs and red pandas, and attracts wildlife enthusiasts for its elephants, rhinos, gaurs, clouded leopards, golden cats, pangolins, fishing cats, swamp deers, pygmy hogs and leopards. The Manas Wildlife Sanctuary accommodates more than 450 species of birds, with the great pied hornbills and the Bengal floricans.

Nanda Devi National Park is in the eastern Uttaranchal State, and one of the most stunning wilderness spots in the Himalayas with its 7,800m peak of Nanda Devi and the Rishi Ganga gorge. Among extremely assorted flora and fauna, the park hosts quite a lot endangered mammals, like snow leopard, serow, Himalayan musk deer and bharal. The Valley of Flowers nearby the park Nanda attracts tourists for its flowers in more than 600 Himalayan species.

Stretching its limit to around 10,000 sq km, Sunderbans National Park is a world heritage site since 1987 with its regions in India and Bangladesh. Sunderbans are well-known as the world's largest mangrove forests and hosts dying out species like tigers, aquatic mammals, birds and reptiles. The park is in Piyali in West Bengal, and catches the imaginations of natural lovers for its vast inhabitants of Royal Bengal Tigers and Ridley Sea Turtles.
