Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel. Day 02: Chennai Morning city tour of Chennai visiting the Fort, Museum and other places. Afternoon free. Day 03: Chennai/Mahabalipuram via Kancheepuram Drive to Mahabalipuram via Kancheepuram – visit the looms that weave the world’s famous silk sarees. It is the waters this city that give the raw silk yarn its rich lustrous sheen. Afternoon visit Mahabalipurm. Day 04: Mahabalipuram/Pondicherry Drive to Pondicherry. Afternoon visit the Ashrams etc. Day 05: Pondicherry/Tanjore Drive to Tanjore enroute visit the temples at Ganga Kondacholapuram and Kumbakonam. Afternoon visit the highlights of Tanjore including a visit to the school of art. Day 06: Tanjore/Trichy  Drive to Trichy. Afternoon visit the Rock Fort and other attractions. Day 07: Trichy/Madurai Drive to Madurai – a city over 2000 years old. Afternoon visit the markets selling various clothing including silk etc. Day 08: Madurai Morning city tour of Madurai including the Palace and Meenakshi Temple. Afternoon free. Evening visit the Meenakshi temple once again to see the closing ceremony. Day 09: Madurai/Periyar Wildlife Park Drive to Periyar Wildlife Santuary a tropical jungle having a beautiful lake, home to wild elephants, Indian Gaur, Monkeys, spotted deer, wild boar and various spices of birds. Afternoon visit the park by boat. Day 10: Periyar/Alleppy Drive to Alleppy called the “Venice of the East” on account of its extensive canal network with bridges and canals. Check in a Housbeoat and enjoy the day sailing through the canals and watching the daily rituals of the people living on the banks. Day 11: Alleppy/Cochin  Disembark from the houseboat and drive to Cochin. Evening witness Kathkali Dance performance including its make up.Day 12: Cochin Morning tour of Cochin including the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace and Chinese fishing nets. Afternoon free to relax. Day 13: Cochin/Mumbai by flight. Take a short flight to Mumbai. Afternoon city tour of Mumbai visiting Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Crawford Market, Hanging Gardens and Gandhi Museum. Day 14: Depart/Mumbai by International Flight. Transfer to airport in time for your international flight to the next destination.
