Day 01: Arrive/Chennai by International light.
Today you will arrive at Chennai International airport.
Day 02: Chennai
This morning you will be taken on a half day sightseeing tour of Chennai – the Capital of Tamilnadu. Also visit Mylapore Temple, Parthasarthy Temple & Kapaleshwar Temple.
Day 03: Chennai/Tirupati
After breakfast, driven by car to Tirupati and check in at Hotel. Afternoon you will proceed for Darshan of LORD BALAJI.
Day 04: Tirupati/Mahabalipuram via Kancheepuram
After breakfast, driven to Mahabalipuram en- route visiting Kancheepuram - Is one of India’s most spectacular temple cities and its many gopurams can be seen from miles away. Between the 6th and 8th century AD, Kancheepuram was the great capital of the Pallava Kings. Visiting Kailasanathan Temple. Built by the Pallavas, the temple has 54 small shrines around it. Vaikuntaperumal Temple – The Vaikuntaperumal Temple is dedicated to Vishnu. Elegant pillars carved with lion’s edge the temple courtyard. Ekambareshwaran Temple dedicated to Shiva, this is one of the largest temples in Kanchipuram, its huge gopuram 57 meters high and besides a thousand – pillared hall which house the temple’s numerous art facts. There is an old mango tree with four branches that is supposed to be 2500 years. The fruits of the four branches are said to different in taste & continue your drive to Mahabalipuram & Check in at Hotel. Afternoon you will be taken on a half day sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram visiting Krishna mandapa, Mahishasuramardhini, Arjuna’s. Penance, Five Rathas and Shore Temple. The only shore temple which remains here is the spectacular two - spire shrine, unique because it houses both Lord Shiva and the Lord Vishnu in its sanctum-sanctorum.
Day 05: Mahabalipuram/Pondicherry via Tiruvannamallai
After breakfast, driven to Pondicherry en route visiting Tiruvannamallai – a pilgrim center with an ancient temple of Lord Shiva and continue your drive to Pondicherry and check in at Hotel. Afternoon you will be taken on a half day sightseeing tour of Pondicherry visiting Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Light House, Glass House, French Institute.
Day 06: Pondicherry/Trichy via Tanjore
After breakfast, driven to Trichy en-route visiting Tanjore - Brahadeswara temple (or the big temple of God). The temple tower rises to a height of 15mts from a square base of 29 meters and then tapers off, making a total of 66mts and continue your drive to Trichy – situated on the banks of Kaveri River is a blend of history and tradition as well as pilgrim center & check in at Hotel.
Day 07: Trichy/Madurai
After breakfast, you will be taken on a half day sightseeing tour of Trichy visiting Rock fort Temple is in the center of the city, which can be seen for miles around, stands on top of a massive outcrop of rock, 83 meters high and 437 steps cut into a tunnel through the rock and also visit Vinayaka temple and its temple at a height of over 23mts. Also visit Srirangam and Jambukeshwar Temple. Afternoon, driven by car to Madurai and check in at Hotel. Evening visit the famous Meenakshi Temple dedicated the gods Meenakshi her consort Lord Sundaresaran, the temple has numerous Mandapas decorated with exquisite sculptures, a set of musical notes when tapped and a lovely cloistered temple pool. The thousand pillared hall is a museum that display temple arte facts.
Day 08: Madurai
After breakfast, you will be taken on a half day sightseeing tour of Madurai – it is the one of India most ancient cities with a history dating back to the 6th century situated on the Vaigai river. Two thousand years ago, Madurai was the great capital of the Pandya Kings and a center of Tamil culture. Visiting the Meenakshi Temple and Palace of Nayak Thirumala near the Meenakshi Temple, this Place was built in 1636 by the ruler of the name in the Indo-Saracen style. Rest of the day is free to relax.
Day 09: Madurai/Rameshwaram
After breakfast, driven by car to Rameshwaram – The most sacred temple town of India & Check in at Hotel. Evening visit the temple.
Day 10: Rameshwaram/Kanyakumari
After breakfast, driven by car to Kanyakumari – is the land’s end of India where, Water of Arabian sea, the bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean meet & Check in at Hotel. Afternoon you will be taken on a half day sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari visiting the Amman Temples - a symbol of unity and sanctity - dedicated to the virgin Goddess, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, dedicated to Indian Saint Vivekananda, who meditated on this very rock before he proceeded to West to propagate Hinduism.
Day 11: Kanyakumari/Trivandrum (Kovalam)
After breakfast, driven by car to Kovalam and check in at Hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax.
Day 12: Kovalam
After breakfast, you will be free to relax. Afternoon you will be taken on a half day sightseeing tour of Trivandrum capital of the state of Kerala, is a beautiful seaside city built on seven hills. The city gets its name from the word, Thiru Ananthpuram, meaning the city of Anantha or the abode of the sacred serpent Anantha, on which Lord Vishnu, the preservers of the Hindu trinity. Visit the Napier Museum (Closed on Wednesday) and Sri Chithra Art Gallery & also visit Sree Padmanaba Swamy Temple.
Day 13: Depart/Trivandrum by International flight.
Today you will be transferred to Trivandrum International airport in time to connect your onward flight to your next destination.
