 Thiruvananthpuram (known as Trivandrum) the capital of Kerala is to be found at the South Western tip of India. Kovalam beach attracts a vast number of travellers which is away at 16 km and around half-an-hour's drive from the city. Kovalam has three adjoining crescent beaches; the Lighthouse Beach is the southernmost, and visited by the maximum number of travellers.
